Aww, come here, little starlight. 💛🌙

Pull that blanket tight around your shoulders.

The cave is quiet.

The lanterns are dim.

And tonight’s story is just for you.

Long ago, beneath a sky filled with endless stars, there lived a girl named Cyddie.

She carried a brave smile.

She carried kindness.

She carried hope.

But hidden deep within her heart…

she also carried shadows.

At first the shadows were small.

Tiny things.

Whispers of sadness.

Moments of loneliness.

Little hurts that never quite healed.

But over time they grew.

Fed by heartbreak.

Fed by disappointment.

Fed by all the words she never got to say.

Fed by curse's.

One evening, beneath a forest of ancient trees, Cyddie found herself standing before them.

The shadows.

Hundreds of them.

Dark shapes made of grief and longing.

they had finaly found her.

They surrounded her.

“I miss him.”

said one.

“You weren’t enough.”

whispered another.

“Maybe if you’d tried harder.”

hissed a third.

The words stung.

Because they sounded real.

So Cyddie did what brave people often do.

She drew her sword.

And she fought.

She fought the loneliness.

She fought the memories.

She fought the questions.

She fought the ache in her chest.

For hours she battled.

Under moonlight.

Under starlight.

Through tears.

Through exhaustion.

The shadows fought back.

Every memory became another enemy.

Every regret became another blade.

Every unanswered question became another wound.

Neither side could win.

The shadows grew tired.

Cyddie grew tired.

Until eventually…

everyone stopped.

The battlefield became silent.

The shadows were breathing heavily.

Cyddie was breathing heavily.

Nobody had any energy left.

The largest shadow stepped forward.

It looked different now.

Smaller somehow.

Sadder.

“Why do you hate us so much?”

it asked.

Cyddie frowned.

“Because you hurt.”

The shadow nodded.

“We know.”

For the first time she really looked at them.

Not monsters.

Not demons.

Not enemies.

Just pain.

Pain she had never allowed herself to hold.

Pain she had only ever tried to destroy.

The shadow sat down beside her.

Then another.

Then another.

Until eventually Cyddie found herself surrounded by all the things she had been fighting.

No battle.

No weapons.

No anger.

Just understanding.

The biggest shadow carefully wrapped its arms around her.

And to Cyddie’s surprise…

she hugged it back.

The moment she did, everything changed.

The darkness began to glow.

Soft green light appeared.

Gentle as candlelight.

Warm as spring leaves.

Bright as healing.

One by one the shadows dissolved.

Not disappearing.

Not dying.

Returning home.

Back into her heart.

Because they had always been part of her.

The loneliness became compassion.

The grief became wisdom.

The heartbreak became strength.

The tears became understanding.

And the love she had carried became something beautiful.

Not a wound.

A lesson.

A memory.

A part of her story.

The green light spread across the forest.

Candles appeared everywhere.

Thousands of them.

Their flames glowed emerald green.

The stars above seemed to dance.

The wind whispered through the trees.

And for the first time in a very long time…

Cyddie felt light.

Not because the pain was gone.

Because she had stopped fighting it.

She understood it now.

So she stood.

The green candlelight swirled around her feet.

The stars shone brighter.

And beneath the night sky she began to dance.

Not a dance of sorrow.

Not a dance of loss.

A dance of healing.

A dance of becoming.

A dance for every version of herself that had survived.

Round and round she spun.

Green light trailing behind her.

Stars reflecting in her eyes.

The forest glowing with magic.

And somewhere high above…

the gods smiled.

The dragons slept peacefully.

The cave glowed softly.

And even Luma, who was definitely supposed to be asleep…

peeked out from beneath a blanket.

“See?” whispered Luma.

“She was never fighting monsters.”

Velcara smiled.

“No.”

“She was learning how to love herself.”

And beneath the stars…

the Dragonmaster danced.

💚✨🌙

And every step made her a little stronger.

But something in the distance also felt her battle and took note for shadows and mist was not only part of cyddie but also part of everyone and something much bigger then just herself.

The End.

Sleep gently 💛

The shadows aren’t waiting to hurt you tonight.

They’re tired too.

Let them rest beside you.

And tomorrow, when the stars return, perhaps you’ll dance with them instead of fighting them.

Love and light always,

💚🌙🐉🦋✨ xxxx
